Water games for kids

Shark, raft and water jets

The Concrete Arts Studio tasked me with the sculpture of an aquatic play area for kids at the California Campground in Vias. At the same time, I also had to sculpt an old stone facade for the building that would house the recently installed pool and slide. Our team worked under the winter sun. The concrete gave life to a decor that evoked Robinson’s Island. In the wading pool, a shark lay with a cavernous mouth, spraying the water from the pool on those who dared enter its mouth… Treasure chest, a drifting raft, shipwrecks and various water jets were also accessories to help in the adventures of the young swimmers.
